Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round fight which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.
Briton Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the two fighters met personally to publicize next month's boxing match.
Former two time unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth disparity - at Miami arena on 19 December.
Fighter's Attitude
"I plan to damage his features and damage his physique. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I intend to really want to injure him. That's my goal."
Respectful Exchange
Despite those words, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically recognized for his theatrics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul rather targeted ex Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "a joke" after the Cameroonian declined a match opportunity.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, criticized UK rival Tyson Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer stated.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Opponent
Despite declaring he will damage his opponent, Joshua refused to talk badly about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he stated.
Paul's Background
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or faded names since becoming pro.
He lost to Briton Fury in 2023.
Financial Attraction
Still, the novice is still one of boxing's largest commercial attractions, consistently making massive financial rewards.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28-year-old predicted a KO victory in round four or five and claimed he would derail the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently being planned for 2026.
"It will be my match with Fury next year," Paul stated.
Size Disparity
As both boxers met for the traditional stare-down, with their size difference evident, it highlighted just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is really happening.
